Narayanan graduated with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Subsequently, he obtained a masters and Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering in the year 2007 with focus in composite mechanics from State University of New York at Stony Brook. He has over 12 years of industrial experience in several companies. He has worked for about six years with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Apart from this he has experience working for the simulation industry as well as the shipbuilding industry. He joined MSC Software in 2018. He is a part of the pre-sales team taking care of the nonlinear analysis product portfolio.
